Organization Service Terms

2026-10-11.2 · 2026-10-11

Only an authorized adult may create an organization workspace and accept these terms. The free self-service workspace supports authorized sites, sourced event context, plans, tasks, invited members, role-scoped activity and CSV export. It does not create a paid subscription, contractual uptime guarantee, emergency dispatch, employee tracking or safety certification.

Use individual accounts and least-privilege roles. Owners control membership; administrators manage sites; coordinators manage preparedness plans/tasks; analysts have approved read/export access; members see assigned tasks; billing roles do not obtain operational records. Organizations supply accurate records and lawful member instructions and notices.

Workspace information is private to authorized members. PBS does not acquire rights to sell it or use it for unrelated advertising or model training. Support access is limited to its authorized scope and logged. Removing a member immediately revokes access. The last owner must transfer ownership or delete the workspace before deleting their account.

Preparedness drills and voluntary check-in campaigns are available with role-scoped access. A response describes the participant’s own reported status at a time; missing responses do not establish danger or safety. Organizations must provide lawful notices and avoid coercive tracking, discrimination or treating participation as a safety certification. There is no automatic rescue escalation.

The business warranty, liability, indemnity and Texas venue provisions in the Terms apply subject to mandatory law and any valid signed commercial agreement. Organization administrators cannot speak for PBS, guarantee warning performance or activate research collection without the separate release gate.
