Safety and Service Limitations

TELURICO does not predict earthquakes and is not an emergency dispatch service. No proprietary public early-warning capability is operating. Do not wait for an application before protective action; follow local authorities.
USGS reports may be automatic or reviewed and may change. Magnitude is not shaking intensity at a chosen location. Maps and search radii are approximate browsing aids. Missing or stale information is explicitly labeled; absence of a report or response never means an area or person is safe.
Post-event notifications ask for a voluntary personal update. Provider acceptance is not proof of device receipt. Devices, permissions, batteries, networks, operating systems and provider outages can delay or prevent delivery. TEST/SIMULATION screens and histories stay separate from real source events. They do not validate future delivery, silent-mode bypass or earthquake detection.
Published-source earthquake notices identify an event that a source has reported. They are ordinary information, not a validated alert ahead of local shaking. Experimental phone-motion candidates cannot become public warnings. Magnitude, geographic distance and phone download count do not establish your local hazard or warning time. FCM is not used as a life-critical warning delivery system.
